Duquesne Fun Carbon Fact:
Duquesne’s on-campus co-generation plant plant is the only one of its scale in Western Pennsylvania, providing most of the university’s electricity, heating, and cooling. The facility has both a heat recovery system and contributes to an on-campus ice-making process, which provides cooling to University buildings.
